CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–The Virginia rowing team travels to Princeton, N.J., to take part in the Princeton Chase on Sunday (Oct. 27) at Lake Carnegie.

The Cavaliers will have six boats competing in two races. Four UVa crews will compete in the Varsity Eights, while two Cavalier boats will race in the Novice Eights.

The Princeton Chase is a headrace competed along a 2.75-mile course on Lake Carnegie and features many of the top collegiate programs on the East Coast.

Last year at the same regatta, the Cavaliers won the Varsity Eight and Novice Eight races.

At the Head of the Charles on Oct. 20 in Boston, the Virginia Varsity Eight was the top collegiate boat in the Championship Eights for the third consecutive year.

Next up, the Cavaliers will host the Rivanna Romp at the Rivanna Reservoir in Earlysville, Va., on Nov. 17 at 9 a.m.
