CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The 13th-ranked Virginia wrestling team travels to Las Vegas this weekend to compete in the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. Tournament action starts at noon ET on Friday and Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

There are no live results for the tournament, but FloWrestling will have some live video, while InterMat will provide a live blog.

The tournament features wrestlers from 12 of the top teams in the latest USA Today/NWCA/AWN Coaches Poll: Oklahoma (4), Cornell (6), Ohio State (8), Nebraska (10), Northern Iowa (12), Virginia Tech (14), Iowa State (16), Purdue (19), Oregon State (20), Michigan (20) and Boise State (25), in addition to the No. 13 Cavaliers.

Virginia finished its fall dual schedule by winning two of its three matches last Saturday at the Northeast Duals in Troy, N.Y. The Cavaliers defeated Clarion (21-13) and Rutgers (22-9) but lost to Lehigh (19-14). The Mountain Hawks moved into the national rankings at No. 23 this week following their win over the Cavaliers.

The invitational is Virginia’s final team competition of 2013. UVa returns to team action Jan. 1-2 at the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn.
