CHARLOTTESVILLE – Four Virginia men’s tennis alumni will represent their countries this week in Davis Cup play around the world. Three will be in action, while two others will serve as alternates.

Somdev Devvarman (Class of 2008) will play for India as it hosts Chinese Taipei in first-round Asia/Oceania Group I action in Indore, India. Sanam Singh (Class of 2011) is also a part of the Indian squad, serving as an alternate.

Treat Huey (Class of 2008) will play doubles for the Philippines this week in a first-round Asia/Oceania Group II matchup at Sri Lanka.

Dominic Inglot (Class of 2009) is an alternate for Great Britain this week as it opens World Group play against the United States at Petco Park in San Diego.

Two other Cavalier alumni are in action this week, with Jarmere Jenkins (Class of 2013) in the semifinals of the Burnie Challenger in Australia and Michael Shabaz (Class of 2011) in action at the Futures Tour event in Germany.
