Wednesday Virginia Baseball Game Moved to William & Mary

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Wednesday (Feb. 19) baseball game between Virginia and William and Mary, scheduled to be played at 4 p.m. at UVa’s Davenport Field, will now be played in Williamsburg at William and Mary’s Plumeri Park at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Field conditions at Davenport Field prompted the change.

“While we made every effort to play this game at Davenport Field, it unfortunately was not possible because of the field conditions,” Virginia head coach Brian O’Connor said. “This gives our team the best opportunity to play the game. We look forward to playing our home opener Friday against East Carolina.”

Because of the relocation, fans may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletic Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm., or (b) bring their ticket to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Tickets at William & Mary are $7 for reserved chairbacks, $6 for adult general admission, $5 for general admission senior/military and $2 for youth general admission.
