Complete Schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia men’s tennis team announced its 2015 spring schedule on Tuesday. The eight-time defending ACC Champion Cavaliers will play at least 11 home matches this season at the Snyder Tennis Center and the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

The Cavaliers will play 12 teams this spring who participated in last year’s NCAA Tournament, with a chance to play even more during the ITA Kickoff Weekend and at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. Four of those teams reached the round of 16 last season.

In addition to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in February, a tournament the Cavaliers have won five of the last seven years, the non-conference schedule is highlighted by trips to NCAA runner-up Oklahoma and perennial power Baylor, who will host this year’s NCAA Championships.

“We have once again tried to assemble a difficult schedule that will challenge our team from start to finish,” said head coach Brian Boland. “The ACC continues to improve every year and we expect this season to be the strongest it has ever been. Our non-conference schedule gives us a great opportunity to play the NCAA runner-up Oklahoma and play at the NCAA Championship venue at Baylor. We are also working on finalizing one additional high-profile home non-conference match.”

The ACC schedule includes home matches against 2014 ACC runner-up North Carolina and 2014 NCAA tournament teams Clemson, Duke, Louisville and Virginia Tech.

Admission for all home Virginia tennis matches is free.
