Charlottesville, Va. – Former Virginia golfer David Pastore (Greenwich, Conn.) earned conditional status for the 2015 Web.com Tour at this past week’s Tour Qualifying Tournament at PGA National Resort & Spa.

Pastore finished 64th at 4-under 425 during the six-round event. He posted scores of 74, 70, 70, 68, 72 and 71.

Players finishing outside of the top 45 at Web.com Tour Q-School earn conditional status for next year’s tour. They will alternate with Nos. 76-100 on the Web.com Tour regular-season money list, as well as Nos. 2-5 on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica, PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour China money lists.

The Web.com Tour, formerly known as the Nationwide Tour, serves as a developmental tour for the PGA.

Pastore competed for Virginia during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He posted three top-10 outings and finished first at the 2014 Jim West Intercollegiate.

Last August he won the 112th Met Amateur Championship in New York. In June he took top honors at the MAG’s Ike Championship. In November he was tabbed by the MAG as its Player of the Year.
