Kaeser Selected to Swim at NCAA Championships

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–Junior Virginia swimmer Yannick Kaeser has been selected to represent the Cavaliers at the NCAA Championships, to be held in Iowa City, Iowa, March 26-28.
Kaeser (Mumpf, Switzerland) broke the school record in the 100 breast (52.47) and 200 breast (1:53.71) at the Georgia Fall Invitational in December. He earned honorable mention All-America honors in the 200 breast in 2014, placing 16th. Kaeser qualified in both breaststroke events.
Kaeser will join senior diver JB Kolod (Pittsburgh, Pa.) at the NCAA Championships. Kolod qualified for the national meet by way of a second-place finish on the 1-meter springboards at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships Monday (March 9) in Buffalo, N.Y.
A total of 235 swimmers from 52 schools were selected for the meet.
