CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.–The No. 2 Virginia rowing team travels out west this weekend (March 28-29) to take part in the Pac-12 Challenge in Redwood Shores, Calif.

The action will be split into three sessions with racing beginning at 12 p.m. Eastern both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday afternoon’s action will start at 4 p.m. Eastern.

Results from this weekend’s action will be available on Twitter. Fans can follow @Pac12Challenge throughout the weekend for results.

Virginia will take on Oregon State Saturday morning before facing No. 5 Stanford in the afternoon. The Cavaliers will race No. 4 California Sunday morning. UVa will have four crews competing in each session, including the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four.

Last time out, the Cavaliers won 14 of 15 races at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Virginia’s V8 swept three races and was named ACC Crew of the Week for its efforts.

Next up, the Cavaliers host the ACC/Big Ten Challenge as well as Navy on Lake Monticello on April 4. The Cavaliers will face off against Big Ten schools Ohio State and Michigan as well as the Midshipmen. Clemson will also be representing the ACC at the regatta. The first race is set to start at 9 a.m.
