CHARLOTTESVILE, Va. – The Virginia women’s tennis team hits the home court this weekend for the only time this fall, hosting the UVa Fall Invite at the Snyder Tennis Center.

Athletes from seven schools around the country plus Virginia will compete in the three-day event that begins at 9 a.m. Friday morning. Represented in the event will be Arkansas, George Washington, Marshall, Maryland, Miami (Ohio), Old Dominion and Utah.

The event will consist of three singles draws and three doubles draws.

Competing for the Cavaliers in singles will be seniors Danielle Collins (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Julia Elbaba (Oyster Bay, N.Y.), Maci Epstein (Winter Park, Fla.) and Skylar Morton (Bethesda, Md.), junior Victoria Olivarez (Virginia Beach, Va.), sophomore Cassie Mercer (Huntington, W.V.), and freshmen Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Me.) and Erica Susi (Vero Beach, Fla.).

Virginia will also have four doubles teams competing in the tournament. Cavalier pairings for the doubles brackets include Elbaba and Morton, Collins and Kelley, Olivarez and Mercer, and Epstein and Susi.
