CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia volleyball senior Lauren Fuller (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) earned 2015 AVCA Honorable Mention All-America honors, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced on Wednesday (Dec. 16).

Fuller, who was selected to the AVCA All-East Coast Region First Team, became just the fifth player in UVA history to earn All-America honors and the first since Sarah Kirkwood in 2007.

The senior setter was a First Team All-ACC selection after finishing the season with 1,250 assists (38th in NCAA, 2nd in ACC) to average 10.87 per set (36th in NCAA, 2nd in ACC).

Fuller dished out over 40 assists in 15 matches, including a career-high 60 against Syracuse and guided the UVA offense to over .200 hitting percentage in 22 matches, with seven matches over .300 hitting percentage. She also ranked fourth on the team with 224 digs and tallied six double-doubles on the year.
