Men’s lacrosse redshirt Greg Coholan, a first round MLL Draft selection last month by the Boston Cannons, was one of 12 players in the nation named to the Lacrosse Magazine preseason All-America Team. Coholan made the midfield team with fellow ACC student-athletes, Myles Jones from Duke and Sergio Perkovic from Notre Dame. Of the 12 preseason All-Americans, six hail from the ACC, including Coholan. The 2016 season for Virginia opens on Saturday at home against No. 14 Loyola at 1 p.m.
