#HoosCare

Yesterday was #WorldWater Day and former #UVAFB standout and current NE Patriot DE Chris Long was very active on social media promoting it and his foundation Waterboys.org. It’s been active for a year now and raised more than half a million dollars for clean water wells in Africa. If you haven’t watched the video (narrated by Matthew McConaughey) describing the project when we have blogged about this before, you need to now. It is truly moving.

The first #UVAFB spring practice took place bright and early yesterday morning. Andrew Ramspacher of the Daily Progress recaps the first spring practice which was “quick-paced, creative and exhausting.” VASportsTV also tweeted out a teaser of the action.
