Mihaljevic Named ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C.-Virginia track and field junior Filip Mihaljevic has been named the ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week for the second-consecutive week, the conference announced Tuesday (May 3).

Mihaljevic (Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina) won the discus at the Highlander Invitational in Radford, Va., on Friday (April 29) with a throw of 61.12m (200′ 6″), the best mark of the week in the NCAA. The junior thrower also had the seventh- and ninth-best NCAA throws of the week in the competition.

It is Mihaljevic’s sixth career ACC weekly award.
