Former Cavalier baseball standout Chris Taylor will be wearing a new shade of blue, as he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. The infielder spent five seasons in the Seattle Mariners organization and made his big-league debut in 2014.

Incoming #UVATF freshman Jordan Scott won the National Boys U20 Triple Jump title at the Jamaica National Junior Championships this weekend.

Overshadowed by the U.S. Open this weekend was a win by former Wahoo James Driscoll on the Web.com tour. He took top honors at the inaugural Nashville Golf Open. It was his second career win on the Web.com tour. Sporting a mohawk (check it out in this video from pgatour.com), the win moved Driscoll up to 17th on the Web.com money list.
