CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s basketball head coach Joanne Boyle announced on Friday (July 8) the hiring of Andrew Landers as the team’s video coordinator.

After graduating from Ole Miss with a B.A. in business administration, Landers worked as an intern in the Southeastern Conference office before taking a year-long internship with Georgia basketball, working with both the men’s and women’s programs. Most recently, Landers worked for the Orange Bowl committee, serving as the ambassador program assistant where he managed all aspects of the Orange Bowl’s volunteer program.

“Our entire staff is so excited to bring Andrew Landers on board as our Video Coordinator,” Boyle said. “Drew’s technical skills and passion for sharing the story of our team will make him a great asset to our program. Drew has been around the game of basketball his entire life and in addition to knowledge of the sport, possesses an infectious positivity and a tireless work ethic. We are thrilled to have him as a part of the Cavalier family.”

Landers is the son of longtime Georgia women’s basketball head coach Andy Landers.
