The #UVASoftball team volunteered on Sunday morning for the Girls on the Run 5k race held in Charlottesville. Girls on the Run is an organization that inspires girls to celebrate their inner strength.

During #thankyourSID week, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) ran a series of profiles on various media relations personnel from around the country, including our own Melissa Dudek. As stated in the preview, “No one will ever accuse Dudek of not having diverse interests. She is a playwright, a two-time novelist, an Olympic volunteer, a TV extra and former game show participant.” Check out the full profile here.
