With three former UVA players participating in Super Bowl LI, we’ve dubbed the site of the Big Game as HOOSton.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament this year, the ACC is highlighting a collection of 40 moments from the conference and its 15 member institutions. Thursday’s moment featured Virginia’s triple-overtime victory over Maryland to win the ACC title in 1993.

Congratulations to former #UVAMBB standout Mike Tobey on being offered a 10-day contract by the Charlotte Hornets. Tobey had been playing for the franchise’s D-League team in Greensboro, N.C.
