Two items to share this morning from the mat. Ray Bethea, a graduate student member of the UVA Wrestling team, was recently featured by TrackWrestling.com as he combines his studies and wrestling for the Cavaliers. Bethea, who currently holds a 20-10 record at 165 pounds, joined the wrestling team after graduating from Penn and is enrolled seeking a masters degree in higher education from the Curry School of Education.

Redshirt senior George DiCamillo of the 24th-ranked Virginia wrestling team was honored by The Open Mat Wrestler of the Week. DiCamillo had a big weekend, pinning the nation’s fifth-ranked wrestler from North Carolina to help the Cavaliers to a win over the No. 25 Tar Heels and another win over Duke on Sunday.
