#MVP
Congratulations to former #UVAWBB standout Sharnee Zoll, who not only was named the MVP of the Polish Women’s Basketball League, but dominated the voting. Zoll, who plays for Slezea Wroclaw, averaged 11.4 points, 3.6 assists and, as our Google translate program calls it 9.8 “collection” per game to lead the league in rebounding. Zoll finished her UVA career as the ACC’s all-time leader in career assists.
Zero Waste
#UVAMBB has become the first Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball team to achieve “zero waste” during this year’s Game Day Challenge. Fans participated in the event during a designated game Â- the Cavaliers’ 53-43 victory over the University of North Carolina on Feb. 27. UVA Today details the achievement here.
