KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Virginia senior point guard London Perrantes (Los Angeles) was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 2 second team, the NABC announced Wednesday (March 22).

Perrantes earned his first NABC All-District 2 honor after leading No. 24 Virginia (23-11) to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Perrantes, who became the first Cavalier to win a game in four consecutive NCAA tournaments, averaged a team-leading 12.7 points and 3.8 assists in 2016-17. Perrantes tallied six 20-point games, including a 24-point effort in Virginia’s 76-71 win over UNC Wilmington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Perrantes finished his stellar UVA career ranked first all-time in starts (134) and games (138), second in 3-point percentage (40.9%), fourth in most wins played (108) and assists (569), sixth in 3-pointers (211), 10th in minutes (32.1 mpg) and 33rd in points (1,225).

Luke Kennard (Duke), Justin Jackson (North Carolina), John Collins (Wake Forest), Donovan Mitchell (Louisville) and Dwayne Bacon (Florida State) were named the NABC All-District 2 first team.

Bonzie Colson (Notre Dame), Dennis Smith, Jr. (NC State), Andrew White III (Syracuse) and Joel Berry III (North Carolina) joined Perrantes on the second team.
