#UVAMLAX senior Ryan Lukacovic is one of five male finalists for the @Join1Love’s Unsung Hero Award. Lukacovic and teammate Michael Rhoads biked from Charlottesville to San Francisco, Calif., last summer to raise money for the One Love Foundation. The goal was $14,000, but the UVA teammates raised nearly $16,000. The YRL Unsung Hero Award recognizes the accomplishments of two Division I lacrosse players (one male, one female) who demonstrate dedication, integrity, humility, hard work, community service, leadership, kindness and sportsmanship. The two award winners will be announced on May 22, 2017.
