CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia men’s tennis team will have five players competing at the Farnsworth Invitational, being held Friday through Sunday, Oct. 6-8, at the Lenz Tennis Center in Princeton, N.J.

Junior Aswin Lizen (Douglas, Isle of Man), redshirt freshman Ammar Alhaqbani (Alexandria, Va.) and freshmen Jefferson Dockter (Atlanta, Ga.), Jerome Romualdez (Manila, Philippines) and Kyrylo Tsygura (North Potomac, Md.) will be competing as individuals in the event.

Players from 14 teams will be competing at the tournament with four singles draws of 32 players and two doubles draws of 32 pairs. Play will start each day at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday, there will be two rounds of singles and one round of doubles each day. Sunday will have one round of singles and two rounds of doubles.

Lizen and Tsygura will compete in the A-singles draw, Alhaqbani in the B bracket, Dockter will be in C and Romualdez will be play in the D-singles draw. Lizen and Alhaqbani will be in A doubles while Romualdez and Dockter will be in the C-doubles draw.

Bryant, Columbia, Drexel, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hofstra, Lehigh, Marist, Middlebury, Monmouth, NJIT, Princeton, St. John’s and Temple will all have players competing in the field.
