#NGWSD

February 7 is National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Though the Virginia athletics department got an early jump and celebrated it last month, the rest of the nation took time to reflect on the occasion yesterday, including this post from the WNBA featuring former #UVAWBB standout Jenny Boucek. Boucek was a member of the 1993 ACC champion Cavaliers, a team that was lauded in January at the UVA #NGWSD celebration. She is currently an assistant player development coach for the Sacramento Kings.
