A lot of great stories today about former Cavaliers. First up, Danielle Collins, a two-time NCAA women’s tennis singles champion and #UVAWTEN alum, earned her first WTA Tournament victory over the weekend when she rallied for a first-round win at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif. A wild card entry, Collins wasn’t done with her first-round win, but upset Madison Keys in the second round. Keys is ranked No. 15 in the world. Collins returns to the court Monday afternoon in the Round of 32. (Watch match point here)

Veronica Latsko, a graduating #UVAWSOC senior, saw her first action with the Houston Dash this past week as she went to compete with the team in the Thorns Spring Invitational. Latsko scored the first goal for the Dash against the U-23 USWNT in a 2-1 victory on Sunday. Houston drafted Latsko in the NWSL Draft earlier this spring.

Former #UVABase first round pick (8th overall) by the Philadelphia Phillies, Adam Haseley, was on the “The Show Before the Show” podcast with MiLB.com writers Tyler Maun and Sam Dykstra last week. Haseley discussed his transition from college baseball to pro baseball and his 2017 experience in the minor leagues. His interview begins right around the 23-minute mark.

Fansite and fan-favorite Twitter feed Streaking the Lawn shared this photo of a mini #UVAMBB reunion this weekend at the ACC Tournament.
