Battling the Wind

Former Virginia women’s tennis standout Julia Elbaba has been making her rounds on the pro circuit with her latest stop coming in Alabama. This weekend she picked up a qualifying win in a battle of ACC alumni. Elbaba, the all-time singles wins leader at UVA, fought through fierce winds and an injury to take a win over NC State’s Joelle Kissell. Kissell is the all-time combined singles and doubles wins leader in Wolfpack history.
