She’s No McConaughey, but…

Former Cavalier and USA Rowing Olympian Meghan O’Leary stars in the newest Lincoln commercial. The brand’s latest spot, titled The Rower, prominently features the Hoo. Previous ads for the car company have featured Serena Williams and its normal celebrity spokesman, Matthew McConaughey. Meghan was a two-sport athlete (Softball, Volleyball) at UVA and picked up rowing post-college while living in Hartford, Conn. and working for ESPN. She competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics, placing sixth in the double sculls. Watch the 30-second clip here.

Run, Prez, Run

Incoming UVA president Jim Ryan competed in the Boston Marathon on Monday. Ryan finished the race in a time of 3:11:03. Ragged Mountain Running shared this Twitter video of him less than a mile from the finish line.
