CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The final game of Virginia baseball’s Orange and Blue World Series has been moved to Thursday, Nov. 1 at 3:15 p.m. The game had originally been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m.
 
Blue has won four out of the five games played in the series, including the last three. A 3-2 victory on Thursday (Oct. 25) clinched the series for Blue, ending a three-year Orange run. In the overall series that began in the fall of 2003, Orange holds a 9-7 advantage.

Admission to all Orange and Blue World Series games is free.

Game 1: Friday, Oct. 12 – Blue, 8-2
Game 2: Sunday, Oct. 14 – Orange, 5-2
Game 3: Thursday, Oct. 18 – Blue, 3-1
Game 4: Sunday, Oct. 21 – Blue, 3-2
Game 5: Friday, Oct. 25 – Blue, 3-2 (Blue Clinched Series)

Game 6: Thursday, Nov. 1 – 3:15 p.m.
 
* With the six-game format, a winner of the series will be determined by the following order: 1) the first team to win four games 2) based on overall run differential if the series is tied at three games. All six games will be played, regardless of if the series has been decided.
