PARIS – Former Virginia men’s tennis players Dominic Inglot is competing at the 2019 French Open which runs from May 20-June 9 at Roland-Garros in Paris, France.

Inglot, partnering with Martin Klizan of Slovakia in the men’s doubles draw, fell 6-4, 6-4 to Leander Paes and Benoit Paire in the opening round. He also played mixed doubles, partnering with Mihaela Buzarnescu of Romania, being edged by Darija Jurak and Austin Krajicek 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (12) in the opening round on Wednesday.

This is Inglot’s sixth appearance at the French Open and his 28th time competing in a Grand Slam event.

This is the 40th-consecutive Grand Slam in which a Cavalier has appeared.
