Romualdez and Dockter Competing at the Flames Invitational
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia men’s tennis juniors Jefferson Dockter (Atlanta, Ga.) and Jerome Romualdez (Manila, Philippines) will be competing at the Flames Invitational, being held November 8-10 at the Cook Tennis Center at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
Tournament Information
- This is the final tournament of the fall schedule for the Cavaliers
- There will be 32 total entrants to the tournament. Each player is guaranteed four singles matches and three doubles matches
- Dockter and Romualdez will just be playing singles
- There will be eight pods of four players, where each player will play everyone in the pod. For the final match, the winner of each pod will play a winner from the next best pod. Second place in pods will play second place from another pod, etc. The pod format will ensure that no one plays a teammate
- Draw placement is determined by ITA national ranking, UTR and coaches’ lineup
