UVA to Host ODU in One-Round Match Play Contest

Charlottesville, Va. – The No. 17 Virginia women’s golf team will host No. 39 Old Dominion in a one-round, match-play format tournament Friday at Spring Creek Golf Club in Gordonsville, Va. The event is free to the public.
 
Virginia added the match to its schedule after having a date available following the cancellation of a round at the Clemson Invitational in April due to inclement weather.
 
The match play event will feature five head-to-head contests between the Cavaliers and Monarchs. The winner of each contest will be awarded one point.
 
Here is the schedule for the tournament:
 
1:10 – Julia Ford (UVA) vs. Noemie Sudron (ODU)
1:20 – Riley Smyth (UVA) vs. Leah Onosato (ODU)
1:30 – Morgan Gonzales (UVA) vs. Sana Tufail (ODU)
1:40 – Beth Lillie (UVA) vs. Charlotte de Corte (ODU)
1:50 – Anna Redding (UVA) vs. Jana Melichova (ODU)
