CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia track and field program will host its third session of Track’Ville Talks: Outside the Oval on Tuesday, May 11 at 7 p.m. The virtual gathering is for running enthusiasts, UVA Track & Field alumni and supporters of the Cavalier program. The one-hour virtual program will feature segments on current members of the UVA team, the Charlottesville running community and a historical aspect of the Cavaliers’ program.

Tuesday’s episode will include a live interaction with UVA student-athletes who will compete during this week’s ACC Outdoor Championships meet.

Former Cavalier ACC Champs Kent Merritt (sprints), Dana Boone (long jump and triple jump) and Inge Jorgensen (javelin) will talk about their collegiate experiences and provide updates on their post-UVA lives and careers.

Finally, UVA athletics director Carla Williams will join the show along with former Virginia All-American and Olympian Margaret Groos for a segment on UVA Groundbreakers.
