CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia will have 20 swimmers competing in the 2022 Phillips 66 National Championships that run Tuesday, July 26 through Saturday, July 30 at the William Wollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine, Calif.

HOW TO WATCH

All events will be streamed live at www.usaswimming.org/streaming. Finals each night will be broadcast live on the Olympic Channel.

Prelims begin each day at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT and finals start at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

CAVAILERS COMPETING

  • On the women’s side, the Cavaliers will be represented by Ella Bathurst, Abby Harter, Anna Keating, Ella Nelson, Maxine Parker, Zoe Skirboll, Reilly Tiltmann, Claire Tuggle, Gretchen Walsh and Sophia Wilson.
  • For the men, Jack AIkins, Connor Boyle, Will Cole, Scooter Iida, Matt King, August Lamb, Kamal Muhammad, Noah Nichols, Matthew Styczen and Peter Thompson will compete.
  • Keating and Nelson hold the top two times in the women’s 200-meter breaststroke entering nationals.
  • Aikins has the top time in the 200 backstroke and the second-fastest time in the 100-meter backstroke.
  • Parker, Skirboll, Tuggle and Muhammad are all newcomers for the Cavaliers in the 2022-23 season.
