CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (8-1, 3-1 ACC) is set to face off with No. 6 JMU (7-1, 1-0 AAC) on Wednesday (March 20) at Klöckner Stadium. First draw is set for 5 p.m.

  • Virginia’s Morgan Schwab has been on an impressive run to start the 2024 season racking up a total of 37 assists through eight games this season, a total that leads NCAA Division I
  • Schwab put together a record-breaking week starting with a historic performance against No. 23 Richmond dishing out a UVA single-game record eight assists in a 20-5 victory.
  • At No. 4 Notre Dame, the second of Schwab’s four assists notched the 130th of her career, surpassing a 38-year-old Virginia record (129) set by Lindsay Sheehan in 1986. With 135 to her career tally, Schwab is rewriting the Virginia record book with every assist she records this season.
  • Schwab was added to the 2024 Tewaaraton Award Watch List on March 7
