• His first start of the season was Virginia’s home opener against VMI on Feb. 19 where he struck out nine batters in four innings of work
• Had a run of four-straight relief appearances from March 26 – April 14 in which he did not allow a run, a span of five innings
• All 14 runs he surrendered came in three outings – William & Mary (Feb. 26), Liberty (March 13) and Florida State (April 18)

2018
• Made five starts, serving primarily as the team’s Sunday starter until suffering injury
• Logged 29.2 innings pitched and struck out 43 batters while walking only 13
• Held an ERA of 1.96 over his first four starts of the season (23.0 IP – 5 ER)
• Won his first two starts of the year (11.0 IP – 0 ER) —  against Rice (2/18) and Eastern Kentucky (2/25)
• Credited with a combined shutout, the first of his career, against Rice in which allowed one hit over six innings while striking out nine
• In the nightcap of a doubleheader at Duke, struck out a career-high 12 batters in 6.1 innings pitched
• Made relief appearances against Richmond on May 15 (1 IP) and at Wake Forest on May 19 (2.0 IP)

2017
· Pitched in 15 games, including 10 starts
· Made four starts in ACC play
· Recorded three straight quality starts to begin his college career
· Worked at least six innings and earned win in each of his first three starts
· Opposing batters hit just .204 against him, but issued 30 walks in 38 1/3 innings
· Struck out season-high nine batters over seven innings in win over La Salle (3/4)
· Fired six innings, allowing three runs and five hits, in win over Rutgers (2/25)
· Allowed just an unearned run, two hits and two walks in his first UVA start against The Citadel (2/18)

· 2014 and 2015 All-Conference 19 selection, both as pitcher and first baseman
· Was 2015 First-Team Class 5A All-State selection as first baseman as senior
· Also was a two-time all-region honoree

· Went 3-3 with 53 strikeouts in 35 innings his senior year; also hit .420 with three homers, five doubles and 31 RBI
