SUMMER 2023

• Competed at the 2021 FISU World University Games in Chengdu, China, winning a bronze in doubles and a silver in the team category
• Represented Switzerland in the international competition featuring university-aged athletes competing in 18 different disciplines
• He is the second player in program history to medal at the World University Games. Dominic Inglot won silver in doubles in 2009 while representing the United Kingdom
• Chengdu was set to host the event in 2021, but it has twice been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is still referred to as the 2021 FISU World University Games even though the competition is taking place in 2023

2022-23 – NCAA CHAMPIONS

• NCAA All-Tournament Team at No. 2 Doubles
• Earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Singles Championship, his third straight year earning a spot in the championship
• Tied for the team lead with 31 singles victories and a team-best 25 dual match singles wins, going 31-7 and 25-5 respectively
• 24-9 in doubles
• Ranked No. 21 in the preseason singles rankings; finished the year ranked No. 33
• Finished the year ranked No. 44 in doubles, partnering with Chris Rodesch (10-1 record together)
• Downed No. 6 Nikola Slavic of Ole Miss in straight sets, the highest-ranked win of his career (10/01)
• Went 8-0 in his first nine singles matches during dual season with one abandonment
• Picked up a top-15 win with a straight-set victory against No. 14 Joshua Lapadat of Kentucky (2/3)

• Was edged in the qualifying final of the ATP Challenger in Zug, Switzerland

2021-22 – NCAA CHAMPIONS

• All-ACC Second Team, his second time earning All-Conference honors
• Named to the All-NCAA Tournament Team at No. 3 Singles and No. 3 Doubles
• Clinched the match against No. 2 Florida in the NCAA Quarterfinals, downing Duarte Vale 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3
• Earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Singles Championship, his second-straight invitation to the tournament
• Opened the singles tournament with a straight-set victory against 9-16 Seed Clement Chidekh of Washington (5/24)
• Had a 15-match win streak snapped in the second round of the NCAA Singles Championship when he lost to Brian Cernoch of UNC
• Finished the year with a 24-5 record in singles and 15-9 in doubles
• Ranked No. 34 in the ITA preseason singles rankings, moving up to a season-best No. 24 (4/13). Finished the year ranked No. 38
• Named the ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the week after topping No. 9 Gabriel Diallo of Kentucky in three sets, the highest-ranked opponent he has played in his career. It was also Diallo’s first loss in a spring dual match after starting 10-0 (4/5)
• Advanced through qualifying to earn a spot in the main draw of the ITF World Tennis Tour 15k in Fayetteville, going on to the tournament quarterfinals (9/22)

• Advanced through qualifying to earn a spot in the main draw of the World Tennis Tour 15K in Genova, Italy edging Gabriele Pitaino of Italy 7-6 (5), 7-5 in the qualifying final. Also advanced to the quarterfinals of the doubles main draw, playing with Raphael Baltensperger (6/14)
• Earned a wildcard into the main draw of singles and doubles of the World Tennis Tour 25K in Klosters, Switzerland (6/14)
• Also played in ITF World Tennis Tour 15ks in Slovakia, Italy and Luxembourg

• Began his collegiate career by winning his first seven singles matches, including three wins against ranked opponents

• ACC Doubles Team of the Week with Iñaki Montes after winning road matches at No. 3 against No. 16 NC State and No. 13 Wake Forest, extending their win streak to five-straight matches (3/2)
• Earned his second ACC Doubles Team of the Week honor after he and Iñaki Montes had a dominant 6-2 victory against the Hokies (4/6)
• Clinched the victory in the Cavaliers’ ACC Quarterfinal 4-3 victory over Georgia Tech (4/23)
