Virginia Athletics recognizes there are many unknowns surrounding the 2021 men’s and women’s lacrosse seasons. This page will serve as a resource to fans and will be continually updated with the most current information available.

Capacity

What are the current capacity guidelines at Klöckner Stadium?
The current capacity guidelines for sports venues provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia under the amended Governor’s Executive Order No. 72 allow for the total number of spectators for outdoor venues to not exceed 30 percent of the lowest occupancy load or the certificate of occupancy. Due to social distancing measures, total capacity for Klöckner Stadium for UVA home lacrosse games is currently 564. Fan attendance at Klöckner Stadium will be allowed beginning Friday, March 26.

When will capacity decisions be made and how will those be communicated?
If capacity guidelines established by state, local and university officials change, Virginia Athletics will communicate the change to past men’s and women’s lacrosse season ticket holders via email and to the public through a press release to media outlets. Information will also be posted to VirginiaSports.com and to the social media accounts of Virginia Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse and Virginia Athletics.

Ticket Information

How will ticket sales for home games be handled?
Due to the limited number of tickets allowed under the current facility capacity, the new attendance policy will include pre-sale ticket access for UVA students and each lacrosse program’s donors and season ticket holders. Following the pre-sale process, remaining tickets will be made available to the general public at 10 a.m. the day of the game.

As a donor and/or season ticket holder, how will I be notified of the opportunity to buy tickets?
Donors and 2020 men’s and women’s lacrosse season ticket holders will be notified of pre-sale access via emails sent from the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office.

Which tickets are available and how much do they cost?
All tickets are general admission and will be $5 each. Tickets can be purchased online at UVATix.com or from Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 434-924-8821. Click here to view additional information on the ticket sales process.

Season Ticket Holders

What do these changes mean for season tickets?
Season tickets will not be sold or distributed for the men’s and women’s lacrosse seasons.

What changes will COVID-19 have on attending games at Klöckner Stadium?
Virginia Athletics will communicate game day information to fans with tickets in advance of game day.

What are the health and safety guidelines for Klöckner Stadium?
Face coverings must be worn by fans at all times in Klöckner Stadium, including while seated and social distancing guidelines must be strictly followed. Failure to adhere to these guidelines will be grounds for removal from the venue. Social distancing must be practice when sitting on the hillside. Fans may not congregate in groups larger than four and must practice appropriate social distancing from other groups.

Student Ticketing

How will UVA student attendance be handled?
Based on the current capacity guidelines for sports venues provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia, student tickets will be available for home lacrosse games. Eligible students will receive an email when the ticket claim process for each game begins and will claim tickets on a first-come, first-served basis using their student ticketing account at UVASHOTS.com.

Students who do not have a student ticketing account should register to ensure they will receive notification of ticket opportunities this season.

Away Games

Will away game tickets still be available for sale?
Virginia Athletics does not sell tickets to regular season away games. Fans are asked to contact the host institution to inquire about availability.
