Virginia Athletics recognizes there are many unknowns surrounding the 2021 softball season. This page will serve as a resource to fans and will be continually updated with the most current information available.

What are the current capacity guidelines at Palmer Park?
Due to current capacity guidelines as established by the Commonwealth of Virginia, attendance at Palmer Park will be limited to the family of student-athletes and coaching staff until further notice. In addition, based on the current guidelines, season tickets will not be issued for the 2021 softball season.

Should the Commonwealth of Virginia adjust the protocols for spectator attendance, the UVA athletics department will announce new capacity guidelines and other protocols to attend events.

When will capacity decisions be made and how will those be communicated?
If capacity guidelines established by state, local and university officials enable fans to attend future games, Virginia Athletics will communicate the change to past softball season ticket holders via email and to the public through a press release to media outlets. Information will also be posted to and to the social media accounts of Virginia Softball and Virginia Athletics.
