Cavs Compete in the USA Track & Field Championships

NEW ORLEANS – Kim Graham (Durham, N.C.) and Ann Crouse (Old Mystic, Conn.) participated in the 1998 USA Track and Field Championships at Tad Gormley Stadium.

Graham, an assistant coach for the UVa track and field team, won the 400 meter dash with a time of (50.69). Crouse competed in the javelin throw and finished fourth in the event with a toss of (178-6).

With their performances, the pair qualified for competition in the 1998 Goodwill Games. The track and field events will be held on July 19-22 at the Mitchell Athletic Complex in Nassau County, N.Y.
