CLEMSON, SC– Clemson scored nine runs in a three inning span to come frombehind to beat Virginia 12-5 in the ACC series finale at Tiger Field onSunday afternoon.

With the win Clemson improves to 29-18 and 9-7 in the ACC, whileVirginia falls to 19-32 and 8-15 in the ACC.

Clemson starter Matt Additon (5-2), making the second start of hiscareer, earned the win. Additon pitched a career high 8.0 innings givingup three earned runs and striking out seven while only walking one.Reliever Mark Hurrie (0-2) took the loss for the Cavaliers.

Virginia was led by third baseman Dan Street who went 2-4, whichincluded a double, with two RBIs and a run scored. Catcher Mark Rueffertalso collected two hits for the Cavaliers and scored one run.
