Football Hosts Preseason Party for Fans

All Virginia fans are invited to get acquainted with the 1998 Virginia Football team at the Meet the Team party on Sunday, August 16th at the University Hall Turf Field, located behind University Hall. The event is tentatively scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm.

Meet the Team will be free and open to the public and will provide all Virginia fans an opportunity to interact with their favorite Cavaliers. Fans will have the opportunity to test their football skills as games for the young and old are conducted with prizes going to the top participants. Head Coach George Welsh and the Cavalier coaching staff will be in attendance along with players. Also in attendance will be the Cavalier cheerleaders and mascot.
