GREENSBORO, N.C.–James Driscoll, a member of the University of Virginia golf team, has been named to the 1998 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golf Team. Driscoll has finished in the top ten in five of the seven tournaments in which he has competed this spring, and has an average score of 72.57 strokes per round. At the ACC Championships, Driscoll finished tied for eighth with a score of 210(71-69-70)

Georgia Tech’s Matt Kuchar was named ACC Player of the Year and Tech’s Bryce Molder was named Rookie of the Year Clemson coach Larry Penley was named Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season. Penley directed the Tigers to the conference championship a month ago.
