CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) – Chris Williams scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds and Virginia had five players in double figures Saturday as the Cavaliers beat New Hampshire 93-52.

Williams had a steal plus seven points, including an 18-footer from the left corner, in a 21-3 first-half run that put Virginia up by 34 with 3:28 left before halftime.

Kris Hunter, Donald Hand, and Adam Hall had 16 apiece for Virginia, which led by double figures in all but the first seven minutes of the game. Willie Dersch had 15.

Williams was just 2-of-9 from the field but hit all 10 of his free throws and grabbed eight defensive boards. Dersch was 6-of-11 from the field.

New Hampshire shot just 33 percent in the first half and was even colder in the second, hitting 8-of-28 from the field for 28 percent. The Wildcats shot 35 percent from long range.

Ethan Cole led the Wildcats with 15 points and Carmen Maciariello had 14.
