Men's Soccer Player Chris Albright Nabs 2 More Laurels

Charlottesville – Cavalier sophomore Chris Albright (Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn Charter) picked up two more awards Wednesday in lieu of his performance Sunday against then-No. 3 Duke University. College Soccer Weekly named Albright honorable mention player of the week, while Soccer America placed him on its Team of the Week. Albright scored his 14th goal of the season in the 83rd minute against the Blue Devils to tie the game 2-2. The forward also assisted on Steve Totten’s goal at the five-minute mark to give Virginia an early 1-0 lead.

This is the second time this season Albright has been named to the Soccer America team. He was so honored Sept. 16 after notching a hat trick against Virginia Tech.
