Men's Tennis in Second Round at Clay Court Championships

BALTIMORE, MD – Senior Hyon Yoo lost to Julien Raynal of South Alabama 7-6(4), 6-2 in the second round today in the prequalifying round at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Court Championships at the Suburban Club of Baltimore County in Baltimore, Md. The National Clay Court Tournament marks the opening of the fall season for the UVa men’s tennis team.

Yoo, from Rockville, Md., defeated Jerry Joseph of Florida A&M 6-2, 6-0 in the first round.

The tournament continues with qualifying rounds on Sept. 21-23 and the main draw on Sept. 24-27.
