CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. – Virginia Cavaliers Angela Hucles (Norfolk,Va./Norfolk Academy) and Lori Lindsey (Indianapolis, IN/Pike) were bothnamed to the All-regional teams as Hucles was named to the first team forthe fourth time in her career and Lindsey was a second-team selection.

Virginia co-captain Angela Hucles is a three time All-ACCperformer. Hucles is the leading scorer for the Cavalier team with 29points for the season and led the team with 11 goals. She also holds theall-time Virginia record for points scored with 138 points and a total of59 goals. Throughout her four years at Virginia she has also had 19 gamewinning goals, marking another Virginia record, and 6 game winning assists.During 1999 Hucles was named to Soccer America team of the week twice andwas named an ACC player of the week once.

Virginia sophomore Lori Lindsey was a first team All-ACC member in1999 and was a second-team All-ACC member and earned All-ACC Tournamenthonors in her first year at Virginia. She was also a member of the USPan-American Games team in 1999 that won the gold medal. Lindsey had 9points for the season and a career total of 29 points. She also ranks 3rdon the team for minutes played, with 1542 minutes for the season.

The Cavaliers concluded their season with a 3-2 triple overtimeloss to the Hartford Hawks.
