Time Changes Announced For Nationwide Classic

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Changes in the starting times for the basketball games on the second day of the Nationwide Classic on December 30 have been announced by the University of Virginia. The new starting times are 3:00 p.m. for the Butler-Radford game and 5:30 p.m. for the Virginia-Syracuse game. The games were originally scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively.

The starting times were changed so the Virginia women’s basketball team’s game with Syracuse would not be in direct conflict with the UVa football team’s game with Illinois in the Micronpc.com Bowl. The bowl game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

The starting times for the games on the first day of the Nationwide Classic on December 29 remain the same. The Syracuse-Radford game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. and the Virginia-Butler game at 7:30 p.m.
