Baltimore, Md – Hanley Holcomb’s second goal of the game with 4:22 left in the first half broke a 4-all tie to put UVa back in the lead. Holcomb beat Duke goalie Matt Breslin with a right handed drive.

Then following a Duke turnover on the ensuing faceoff, Mark Koontz scooped up a loose ball and fed Drew McKnight on the fast break to push the UVa lead to 6-4.

Three minutes to go in the half , UVa leads 6-4.
