CHARLOTTESVILLE — The Missouri Athletic Club announced today that Virginia midfielder Lori Lindsey (Indianapolis, Ind./ Pike) has been chosen as one of 15 finalists for the Missouri Athletic Club Collegiate Soccer Award.

Lindsey leads the Cavaliers in scoring this season with six goals and 13 points. She has amassed 42 points in her three-year career and became the 10th most prolific goal scorer in Virginia history when she scored her 19th goal of the season in the Hoos’ 4-1 victory over George Mason on Sept. 22.

Lindsey was a member of the All-Regional second team and All-ACC first team in 1999. She was named All-ACC second team and All-ACC Tournament in 1998.

A vote of Division I National Soccer Coaches Association of America members will determine the award winner. The Missouri Athletic Club will honor its award winner at an awards banquet on Friday, Jan. 5.
