Charlottesville, Va. – The University of Virginia women’s tennis team begins its home schedule Saturday, Feb. 17, when the Cavaliers take on Dartmouth at the Boar’s Head Sports Club in Charlottesville. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Virginia’s probable lineup will feature No. 1 singles player Amy O’Donnell (Mahwah, N.J./Mahwah), who won her first match since coming back from shoulder surgery last Sunday (Feb. 11) against Pennsylvania’s Sanela Kunovac. Second-year year Henriette Williams (Raleigh, N.C. / Broughton) will play at No. 2 singles, while fourth-year Christie Schweer (Houston, Texas / Memorial) will play at No. 3. Second-year Jennifer Tuchband (Millburn, N.J. / Millburn), first-year Laura James (Fairfax, Va. / Centerville) and third-year Christine Kim (McLean, Va./Bishop Ireton) round out the singles lineup.

In doubles, Williams and Schweer will team up at No. 1 and O’Donnell will team with Kim at No. 2. Tuchband and James make up the third doubles team.

Fourth-year Kelly Weaver, who usually plays No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles with Tuchband, is attending to a family emergency and will not be in Charlottesville this weekend.
