Also earning a national award was freshman midfielder Kelly Hammond (Bowie, Md.), who was named to the Soccer Buzz Freshman All-America second team. Earlier, Hammond was named as one of Soccer Buzz’s 12 finalists for national freshman of the year.

Worden also led the Cavaliers that were honored on a regional level by being selected to Soccer Buzz’s All-Mid Atlantic Region first team.
